Well here it is, folks – the culmination of 6 fabulous years of work and play – a rollercoaster of emotions, fantastic music, friends new and old.
I’m very proud to present for the first time in Chesterfield (and DETUNE) in their glittering careers…..

Since cutting their teeth DJ’ing with Smokescreen – the renegade soundsystem from which they drew their inspiration in the early 90’s – the Nottingham-based duo traversed the globe and made the inevitable step into production just a few years later, forming the Drop Music label, remixing the likes of Faithless (amongst others), and went on to become one of the most respected production outfits in the World!

It’s an absolute honour to get one of House Music’s finest here – an outfit that epitomise everything DETUNE’s about, so if you’ve been on Mars or summat, and never checked us or them out, this’ll be a great place to start……

Tickets are now in Hudsons Music in the Market Place, Chesterfield at £7 plus £1 booking fee, or you can mail me on here and sort it through paypal, but we’re expecting this to sell out, so PLEASE grab one early to avoid disappointment – very much doubt you’ll just be able to turn up on the door.

Adding further weight to the bill are DETUNE favourites Inbetween DJs from Liverpool – themselves regulars at the amazing ETC clubnight in the current European City of Culture, signed to Detroit House Label Wallshaker, host their own regular radio show, and are generously providing the mix for the DETUNE 6th Birthday CD that all ticket holders will get a copy of, along with a selection of DETUNE-themed goodies on the night!

As well as the aforementioned groovefest, you’ll be pleased to know resident Robbo will be kicking off proceedings early on, and we’ll be shooting a promo video on the night so we can take the DETUNE experience to new shores later in the year, so make sure you’re all wearing your bestest smiles and your lucky pants…….
